Agree fittings and check tailoring production progress

Where: Your tailor's contact channel and the agreed custom-order record. No automated fitting calendar is implied.

Before you start

Keep the order reference, garment details, measurement date and original completion plan.

Steps

  1. Agree when the measurements, fabric confirmation, cutting, fitting and final handover will happen for this garment. Use the stages appropriate to the actual work.
  2. Confirm fitting date, location, what to bring and how much notice is needed for a change. Keep private contact and address details out of public descriptions.
  3. At a fitting, record the changes both parties accept, with units where a measurement changes. Confirm whether the change affects price or completion time before work continues.
  4. Ask for an accurate progress update if a date slips. Keep the revised plan and distinguish an agreed target date from work already completed.
  5. Check the finished garment and agreed corrections before confirming receipt. Escalate an unresolved delay or disputed result to Support with the timeline and order reference.

Check the result

The fitting arrangements and progress record describe the actual garment and agreed next step, without exposing the client's measurements publicly.

If something goes wrong

If a measurement or fitting instruction is unclear, confirm it before cutting or altering the garment. If communication stops, preserve the agreement and attempts to contact the tailor for Support.
